what a busy moment

so long that i have not update my blog, as recentely so many things make me really busy and stressed.

i begin to draw on the wood now,it is a really interesting feeling to try many new technich.

but most of the time i am really tired and busy with the new animation work for Petit Spirou. it is a animation serie of 60 episode. i am doing the setup by toonboom, not that fun, but i am lookin fowards to learn more.

i am waiting and looking for a result, a direction and my destin.

j'ai, depuis toujours, eu l'envie de faire découvrir mon univers décalé, issu des différences entre la culture chinoise et française. Ma nationalité étrangère en France m'a créé une nouvelle identité qui m'apporte de nouvelles réflexions. Travailler le dessin, est une façon, pour moi, de m'exprimer et de communiquer avec les spectateurs, alors le plus important dans mon travail est de travailler sur le sentiment personnel.

Il y a des sentiments que j'ai peur de les exprimer, enfin que je les enterre dans mes dessins.

the pre-production work for geronimo is going to the end. i don't know what next i will do. i really want to stay in this studio animation because i like the atmosphere and i am that kind of person who like to keep the same rhythms for everthing., family, friends, work or love. but life is real, it is not that simple and easy. as i already choosed animation as my carrer, so i have to chase one projet after another. or i hope i am lucky enough to stay where i want.

tomorrow i will go into the mountain with mimi to do some ski. after we r back, i should print my bd and give it to a chinese independent artist group called CS who has won the indie BD prix last year in FIBD. they will show my works at their expo.

i hope that will bring me new possibility.

recentely i miss my family a lot. maybe because it will be soon the chinese new year and i passed a nice xmas with my friend's family. i haven't had chinese new year with my family for 3 years.

3 years i am in france. i like france, i like even the french. but sometimes, i feel tired, i am moving too much, meeting so many people, so many changes and new possibilities all the time. i want to find a stable life after all. i want to have a life which i know that tommorrow my life will be the same as today!

But that is what i had in china and then i felt so bored and came here.

it is xmas soon. my friend asked me to to pass the xmas with her family. but it is a family festival, i think i'd better not bother. i am also asked to go to Barcelora for new year, they found a car finally. but i told Mylene that i would visit her in Niort. so spain, next time, i hope soon. besides, i will move soon, so better do some preparing work.

tomorrow morning i will go to paris for a interview and come back the same day. i hope the snow will not make any traffic probs and i hope i have time to enjoy a good expo.

i am back from the salon. i am soooo tired.

as i carried my mac pro and profotlio everywhere in the salon! and there r so many people like me with huge carnets and tons of works.....shit i feel so stressed and i should work hard like Nancy! there is the festival de bande dessine in angouleme soon.

i should finis my projet de BD and see if i can show it to some maison d'edition there. already a small but very lovely maison d'edition felt quite interest in this BD but they only recieve completed projet so i will send them when i finis...

my trip to suisse and italia was wonderful. i took a lot of fotos with my new camera nikon D300s with a lens of 18-200mm. oh i love my camera!!! even it is really heavy...

now i am lookin for nice appartement to moving to paris, then my future is still in the mist but i always belive i will find my direction step by step

my film animation for the diplome is taken in an art festival in paris. it is called temps d'image. my school, art deco, gobelins, louis lumiere, EMCA all participe in this festival. school booked a place for me and when i went there, i got a artist pass for all events. that is cool to feel like a artist once in my life, lol.

after 3 months vacation in china where facebook, youtube and blogspot r forbidden, i am finally back and able to update my pages.

the vacation is nice, a intership in a big animation company and a nice trip to the southest of china.

many people r very down in the moment. every time i talk with friends at school. we ask what we will do next year what we will become, on ne sait pas, on ne sait pas. well, as we can never tell the future, just enjoy right now.

je ne pleure plus. meme je le reve de temps en temps. Dans mon reve il reviens et m'enbrasse. je reveille, nul emotion. Il n'y a rien exordinaire entre nous. comme tous les autres, on a eu des super bons moments qui etaient jamais permanent. tout a change maintenant. la passe est belle mais elle n'exist plus. je vis dans instant et je vais vivre bien tous mes instants.

Je suis comme ca. Les histoires me faitent tres tres mal pendant des periods. Une fois ca se calm, je repars avec la meme courage et la meme espoir.

i studied hard for one week, then it is vacation.

i felt no more gloomy. Communicating with the profs and classmates make me feel much better.

Before going to paris for vacation, i went to a classmate's birthday party, when talking about the diploma and future, everyone was having a lot of stress. all we can do is just to keep working.

even though my caw year's bad luck is with me, but as it will soon be tiger year, so i think i will be okay! so whatever my camera and graphic table r all broken, i borrowed school's ones already and god is kindly giving me good luck on shopping!! these sales in france, i found a lot nice cheap stuff!

i am back in this little city. but all my expectation and hope to staying here is dying after my bilan. i don't want to go out, don't want to see anybody. i miss my days in china, i miss john.

my prof was very angry that i was gone for so long and no more contact during the vacation until my bilan. my projet gose well. but he said it seemed rather like my personal projet than a school projet.

i did conmmunicate with my prof sometimes but not that much like french students. i want to be more open, but i am used to my chinese settled mind maybe. my ideas are always too clear and no more space to develope.

i am not sure at all if can still get enough notes for diplome. this stress is killing me. i can't dissapoint my parents. i want to work. but i don't know if i can find any with only my chinese diplome.

anyway i will try my best to graduate this year.

home sweet home~staying there for a month once a year is perfect.otherwise, it is too much. maybe it will change.

a lot of things to prepare before going home,which disturb my studies a lot. i am not a very hard-working person already. anyway, i am pushing myself to face the reality. yes, two days after i am back from china, i will have my bilan of the first semestre....

okay, i haven't finish the scene on maya for my film. but now i find maya even more interesting than drawings....hmm, for sure, i am not talking about the nightmare of animation part in maya. luckily, i only do modelisation.

de woodstock à lafayette, c'est tellement frustré, d'une illusion à l'autre. même on veut pas l'accepter, mais quoi d'autre on peut faire?

j'ai vu les sacs à main de dior, j'ai vu une folie de gens devent les marques de nux. une tier est asiatique, un vieux couple chinois ont acheter un sac en cuir de agneau de chanel et puis sont entrés dans Mcdonads. devant les grands magasins sur le boulevard, tous les dix metres il y avait un san-abri. les riches avec plein de sacs de nux à la main les sont passé sans regardé. Jonathan qui était rouge et en train de disscuter avec moi n'a pas oublié de laisser quelque monnaies à un vieux.

je suis profondement negatif. je évite de me battre tousjour. je veux aussi vivre sous l'illusion de woodstock, mais maintenant c'est l'époque de Lafayette. je peux plus avoir les illusions. ilis sont sois trop naives ou sois trop ennuyeux. je peux que vivre dans la realité.

on sais pas si le generation de woodstock qui sont appelés par ses couvernment communist fantaisist le generation cassé sont enfin devenu aujourd'ui les parents de gouvernment de lafayette. Si c'est ridicule ce monde. à la fois je le profite et à la fois je me repente. bon, au pire, j'ai encore conscience de me repenter.

i just like getting ill in ten minutes this morning. then i had to give up my class this afternoon. then i found i missed my rendez-vous for my new carte de sejour. well, very unlucky day.

we had a good party for Halloween. everybody dressed up and had funny heavy makeup. we talked, we drank we danced. then i came back and spent ten minuets to washed up my eye liner. i had an art exposition to see next morning. i wanted to have a good rest. but i waked up 8 am the morning.

i watched the englih patient again. i like it more and more. i want to go to the desert and i will.

i think John will like our prof Jean Rubak very much, they are both very extrem left side.i am not a extreme person at all. i always look for the balance. but i support the left side, as in this society i think we need left side to keep the balance.

we are the last film animation department in poitiers. after this year, the animation department will move to angouleme. poitiers will become a school mainly on research of technologies of digital art. the teaches and students all think it is a stupid idea. beaux art to digital art, even the art school become more and more right.

i said i really wanted to find a job after my studies. Jean said, as i chose to be a student of art school, now there was no need to worry about these future practical problem. i think he is right. i made my choice. i want to do my research now, so i work hard and enjoy my research. i want to work after i graduate, so i will find a job and enjoy my career life. things are not that easy. but i just try my best. all i want is just to enjoy what i am doing.

in the end Jean paid half of the bill and students paid just the rest.

this afternoon students of the 3rd year had a discussion about the possibility to do exchange studies abroad for the 4th year. Quebec and Germaney are both possible. i know i should be financially independent next year, that means best to work. but my heart is still willing to explore and experience more. the prof said there was possibility to find a intership to support our life. i think i will see. life is short. take our chance and enjoy it.

i am now in this little city poitiers. it is nice as a city of students where many events go on. but i still miss paris a lot. as a chinese city girl, i think i like always big cities.but i am here for studies. so nerver mind. i don't know anybody here. my classmates and profs are all very nice. but nowadays, people are too old to easily make close friend. me too.

so now the most i can do is to focus on my studies. i like too much the fun. but now this year i need to work hard.

i have two film to finish. one for angouleme BD festival and one for my diplome. i just began
